Elaine is a founding shareholder of Thompson Davis & Co. and has served as its chief financial officer since its 2002 inception.

She has worked as an accountant in the financial services industry since 1990, when she joined the accounting department at Branch Cabell & Co. Elaine was eventually named senior vice president of accounting, where she managed the firm’s accounting group. When Branch Cabell was acquired by Tucker Anthony, and subsequently by RBC Dain Rauscher, she held the position of finance manager in both firms.

Elaine earned a BS in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Fairmont State College. She is an active member in her church, serving on various committees and councils. Elaine lives in Old Church, Virginia, with her husband and son, where they enjoy spending time in the great outdoors.
