Peggy joined the team at Thompson Davis & Co. in late 2016 as supervisory analyst/operations manager.
She began her research career in 1997 at Wheat First Butcher Singer as it was being acquired by First Union Bank. In 1999, Peggy joined Scott Stringfellow, Inc., as it was being acquired by BB&T. During her 16 years at what became BB&T Capital Markets, she worked in the equity research department as editor, publishing manager, and supervisory analyst.
Peggy earned a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from the University of Richmond and has her FINRA Series 7, 87, and 24 licenses. A Richmond native who currently lives in Jackson Ward, she is actively involved with several nonprofits, including ART 180, Studio Two Three, and 97.3fm/WRIR Richmond Independent Radio.
